Fashion & Homewares
IFC appreciates the competitive nature of the FMCG industry. Through more than 30 years of experience in the industry, we understand that constant innovation towards the management of a retail supply chain is required. IFC understands that the retail and homewares industry is a fast-paced environment heavily influenced by various factors, including seasonal variations, trend fluctuations and changing consumer behaviours.
This dedication to continuous improvement is demonstrated in our approaches to managing our customer’s logistic solutions. We aim to offer clients peace of mind by helping to manage operational procedures and inventory levels from source to shelf, adding significant value to some of the largest retail chains around the world.
Such turbulence places a high demand on logistics providers to stay up to date with current processes. Thankfully, IFC has demonstrated experience and are best positioned to respond with innovative approaches such as:
Direct to Store Model
The Direct-to-Store model involves processing and consolidation at an offshore location, from which store-ready palleted orders are directly shipped to each Australian state for direct transportation to store. This model dramatically reduces production lead times, simplifies the stock ordering process and assists in the planning of sales and marketing promotion guided by instantly available stock.
