Brooke Mclean - National Key Account Manager, Warehousing Division
Tell us about your role with IFC and how long you have been with the business.
I am a National Key account Manager. I started with IFC in 2014, almost 10 years ago.
What do you enjoy most about working at IFC?
The team I work with at IFC! We work together and support each other. There are always new challenges at IFC. A new challenge always keeps the mind busy.
What drew you to work in the supply chain industry?
I was ready for a career change, having no idea what I wanted to do, but an opportunity became available at IFC; I took on this role as customer service/Admin back in 2014, and I felt so grateful to be given this opportunity. I have grown and learned a lot in the last 10 years.
Tell us a little about your background and experience.
I worked in retail for 8 years. Prior to working at IFC, most of my knowledge has come from my years working with IFC.
In your experience working in the industry, what are the biggest challenges and opportunities you’ve come across so far?
In my experience, Meeting deadlines has been a significant challenge. However, it has also presented an opportunity to develop effective time management skills and foster a more structured workflow to enhance productivity.
How do you think IFC differentiates from competitors?
IFC can differentiate from competitors through innovation, efficiency, quality, and customer service. Unique approaches, cutting-edge technologies, and a commitment to excellence can set IFCs work apart in a competitive landscape.
For aspiring professionals interested in a career in the supply chain industry, what advice would you give them to kickstart their journey?
I started at IFC not knowing a lot about the industry, but I took on the role knowing I could improve and grow and learn! If you’re willing to learn and grow, you can and you will.
What are your hobbies or favourite interests that you enjoy pursuing in your free time?
Motorbike riding, Exploring, Walking, Traveling, and Enjoying every moment with our son.
