Narayan Dangal - Logistics Coordinator
Tell us about your role with IFC and how long you have been with the business.
I’ve worked as a Logistics Coordinator at IFC for over 3.5 years.
What do you enjoy most about working at IFC?
I find great satisfaction in my role at IFC due to the supportive team environment and effective management. Here, there’s a culture that values individual growth and fosters collaboration. Management provides opportunities for personal development, actively listens to ideas, and encourages teamwork to achieve our goals effectively.
What drew you to work in the supply chain industry?
After completing my three-year Advanced Diploma of Computer System Engineering studies, I was eager to secure a full-time job. In my search, I found a position in the warehouse, and from the moment I started, I thoroughly enjoyed every role. Since then, I have never looked back, as I have found fulfilment in my work and have continued to thrive in this industry.
Tell us a little about your background and experience.
Over the past 14 years in Australia, I’ve held various roles, including Computer Trainer, Warehouse Operator, and Customer Service/Administration. I spent five years in customer service/administration at my previous company, where Ian Tanner offered me a role. His support and guidance provided me with opportunities to develop my career in this industry.
What are the biggest challenges and opportunities you’ve encountered in your experience working in the industry?
Meeting deadlines and fulfilling clients’ requirements has been a significant challenge. However, overcoming this challenge has allowed me to enhance my time management skills and develop a more structured workflow. As a result, productivity levels within the business have increased. I have gained valuable experience and learning opportunities from this role.
