Dear Valued Customer,

We have been informed by our China Agents of current Port Strikes at Yantian port.

Cargo operation ex Yantian may be interrupted due to the terminal strike for wage negotiations by the dockers.  At present the strike is contained to Yantian port, with Chiwan and Shekou ports not effected.

The strike commenced on the morning of 2nd September 2013, with limited terminal services allowing collection and delivering of containers from/to the terminal.  The strike was scheduled for 2nd September only, but to date is still continuing.

The strike will effect all carriers currently calling Yantian port.  We are doing our best to minimize any adverse effect to cargo operations and any impact to our Customers.
