Boston and New York will be severely impacted by a “Nor’easter” winter storm starting tonight and continuing through Wednesday morning. All truck operations between New York and Boston have been postponed beginning today and continuing through Wednesday.
Limited local P&D will shut down Monday afternoon. Many/most flights have been cancelled already today and will not resume until sometime on Wednesday. Our offices will be closed later this afternoon and certainly tomorrow, Tuesday.
Hopefully we will be open for business Wednesday afternoon provided roads are cleared for driving and any lost power restored. Please be patient. We will do our best to monitor and respond to e-mail. The Boston vicinity expects up to three feet of snow, while New York is looking at two feet. Winds will be considerably high at times leading to major drifting snow along with downed power lines with accompanying outages. We expect that authorities will issue driving bans during and after this potentially historic Blizzard
