U.S. West Coast Port and Terminal Conditions Latest Update

Dear Customer,

The U.S. West Coast port and terminal conditions have further deteriorated to the point where we carriers are forced to make structural changes to their network.

Pacific Coast – Australia/New Zealand Service

The inbound Oakland call on the PNW string has been suspended. The PSW string will continue to call Oakland at this time.

California – North Europe & South America Service

Oakland calls have been suspended until February 9 at which time we will reassess the port conditions.

Pacific Coast – North Europe/Mediterranean and South America Service

The separate inbound and outbound calls at Oakland have been consolidated into a single call.

We are now experiencing wait times for ships in Oakland of two weeks.

On January 22, the ILWU is planning a community protest in San Pedro, CA which may impact port operations in Los Angeles/Long Beach that day.

Unfortunately there is no indication at this time that this dispute will be resolved soon. We will continue to update you on further developments. Thank you for your continued support.
