We will inform them of the reasons we are collecting the information, and if IFC GL passes information on to others. If the information is collected as a requirement of a law then this must be passed on; and if incorrect, whether there are any consequences; or if only part of the information is supplied. If reasonable and practical, the personal information must be collected only from that individual. If collected from someone else, IFC GL Privacy Officer will make the individual aware of the matter.

6 Access and Correction

IFC GL will provide access to personal information it holds on written request to the IFC GL Privacy Officer. The application to access the information will be subject to the exception set out in National Privacy Principle 6. If access is sought for purpose of determining accuracy of the information and it is determined that the information is out-of-date then IFC GL will take all reasonable steps to bring the information up-to-date. If access is denied then IFC GL will provide a written reason as to why it was denied.
