Quarantine Import Entry processing delays via COLS and email. Industry is clearly frustrated and are sending multiple sets of documents in a desperate bid for service and are also making an extensive number of calls for assistance. Combined, these factors have clearly adversely impacted on service delivery with delays of up to 3 days.
We understand that extra resources will be deployed by the Department over the week-end. Realistically, we will not see service levels return to the guideline standards (24 hours for COLS / 48 hours for email) until Monday 17 August 2015.
