CHANGE IN IMPORT DETENTION RULES TO AUSTRALIA – 15th August 2014
For all import containers discharged in Australia on or after August 15th 2014, Hamburg Sud will be adjusting the standard tariff rules regarding free time and detention.
Effective August 15th 2014 their standard detention terms will be as follows:

|Day 9-18||AUD 50||AUD 100||AUD 70||AUD 140||Day 9-15||AUD 100||AUD 200|
|Day 19+||AUD 100||AUD 200||AUD 140||AUD 280||Day 16+||AUD 200||AUD 400|
Notes: 1. Freetime begins the first calendar day following the actual date of discharge
2. SP refers to “special equipment” i.e Open Tops (OT) flat racks (FR) and platform (PL) units
3. Freetime from this dame date will be set to being the first calendar day following the date of discharge, rather than from date of availability.
