Important news regarding accreditation for Dangerous Goods Maritime.Under the AMSA Dangerous Goods training regime your accreditation is only valid whilst the edition of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG) in which you have been trained is effective. The current accreditation is IMDG Code 2012 Edition (Amendment 36-12) which is valid until 31st December 2015, when it will be superseded by IMDG Code 2014 Edition (Amendment 37-14). For information on what’s new in Amendment 37-14, click here to read the IMO fact sheet.Please note that the IMDG Code 2014 Edition will come into force on 1st January 2016 for two years. This means for you to remain accredited you must complete a refresher course by 31st December 2015.
